How are men made Heterosexual?

If you consider that men are, since their childhood, made to realise that the part of them that desires men is going to be an immense social burden on them (this burden increases tremendously with the heterosexualisation of the society), and the part that likes women is going to get them enormous benefits, status and most of all -- manhood, the most coveted thing for men... then is it any wonder that men compete with each other to prove their 'heterosexuality' and consider themselves lucky to the extent they're able to mutilate their sexual need for men (often beyond recognition)?

Does that make heterosexuality natural?
